The main element of an LED is a semiconductor that emits light when current is passed through it. It is surrounded by a reflector that directs the light in the desired direction and is enclosed in a transparent epoxy resin shell. Sometimes the shell is painted, but this is done only for convenience so that you can determine the color of the diode without turning it on. The color of the diode is determined by the type of semiconductor crystal
Each crystal emits a strictly defined color. If the chemical composition of the crystal is slightly changed, the range of light emitted will change.
It happens that LEDs from the same manufacturer, from different batches, are slightly different in color, and if such LEDs fall into the same ice screen, this will be visually noticeable.
To avoid such troubles, you need to buy screens from large manufacturers. They can order LEDs in very large quantities and ensure that no different LEDs fit into the same LEYARD SMD SCREEN. Some even have their LED production, with multi-stage quality control.
Also, the cost of a diode is affected by the material of the electrode (diodes with a gold thread are more durable than those with a copper thread).
It should also be noted that all-black diodes have appeared on the market. They have significantly higher contrast, but slightly lower brightness.
