Young, sparkling with positivity, emotional, easy to communicate, versatile, has his own opinion on everything. This person is always aware of all the new products and events in the world of electronic music. Who is he?! Of course, a Barcelona clubbing. This word was born in the neighborhoods of Great Britain. It survived the “dampness” of the English jungle in the 60s and the development of the Spanish disco in the 80s. Modernity, of course, has imposed its own rules on club culture, but in general, the meaning is the same: the most wonderful feeling in your heart is for music, and dancing, and you are a true party animal. That’s all the definition, without unnecessary troubles and inventions.
A true, self-respecting clubber will not condemn unloved styles of music or DJs… He, rather, will choose the best for himself, discard what he doesn’t like, and “fly” for new experiences. His life is in full swing, because with the advent of music comes an understanding of the values of happiness.
The party animal is always in the future for development. He tries to visit everywhere and at once, wherever possible, to communicate with the maximum number of people. He is often called crazy due to his unusual behavior or appearance. And this is what distinguishes him from others – individuality, expression of his self, creativity.
What is unique about this type of dance?
Many people do not consider go-go dancing as choreography. It’s very stupid since Opium Barcelona is the combination of quite a few directions into one. This is a kind of improvisation that allows you to choose which style of dance is closer to you, I think – this is the uniqueness of “go-go”. A sense of style, a sense of tact, and coordination of your body are important components in such choreography.
Do you work in the club because you like it or is it just a way to make money?
Opium Barcelona I started practicing at the age of 18 and from the same age I started working in the club purely out of interest. And this was not a way for me to make money. I enjoyed working with the audience, feeling contact with them, giving people my emotions. I can’t live without the club anymore. It’s not that I need to “hang out”, my work is my second wind. A change of environment, even if constant, helps to distract from some of your problems.
Are there any people left for whom clubs are just music and dancing?
I think yes. In part, I see people and observe familiar faces. They regularly come on weekends: some to get away; some simply because they have nowhere to go; for some, it is a habit developed over the years.
Still, is the club good or bad?
Opium Barcelona Clubs are not bad if you don’t abuse them. And meeting new people or communicating with old friends is always only a positive thing.
Essentially, these are those who came to enjoy the here and now; for them, there is a certain “separation”. By the way, the “break” can also be different – physical (in the form of a dance), emotional (feelings that add festivity and solemnity to life), and even social (when a clubber merges with the crowd and becomes a participant in the common action – a disco).
This is such a flow – without conventions, with complete pleasure and pleasure, and with its flow of time. And you can’t even say for sure whether it’s bad or great.
